The white stork (Ciconia ciconia)

The live broadcast from the white stork’s nest is made possible through collaboration with AS “Sadales tīkls.”

According to the data from Nature Protection Board and AS “Sadales tīkls” (ST), over 8,000 stork nests have been recorded on the supports of overhead power lines in recent years. Approximately 70% of Latvia’s white stork population resides within ST infrastructure. Consequently, the conservation of white storks is a key priority for AS “Sadales tīkls” in its social responsibility efforts.
