Each restoration site will be visited after the restoration, to assess the outcome of the restoration measures and the necessity for further adjustments/improvements. While doing so, the experts will assess the coverage of habitats, vegetation structure, indicator species, the results from soil analysis, and draw conclusions for the success of restoration, along with the recommendations for the future improvements/management.
In addition to the on-the-ground monitoring, we will produce the digital terrain model and digital surface model, classify the vegetation height and produce the vegetation classification maps, based on LIDAR and hyperspectral imagery data, for the demonstration farm and its immediate surroundings.
